Owner/Founder: John Letts
John is a former
all-American tennis player at Stanford, where he received a
full scholarship after winning the U.S. National Championship for juniors 18
& under. He competed on the ATP Tour and in the main draws of
Wimbledon, French & U.S. Opens. He reached the quarterfinals of the
Australian Open doubles and won doubles titles at Tel Aviv, Brest, San Luis
Potosi, and Singapore among others. He competed against
Edberg,
McEnroe, Becker,
Sampras, Courier and many other top players in his 5 years on tour.

Programs Director/Staff Professional:
Uran Wu
Uran Wu -–
Director of Operations. Uran heads up iTennis
programming for the City of Pasadena and City of San Marino, including
programming, scheduling and staffing. City of San Marino programs include
the annual summer camp and yearlong tennis programs on the campuses of
Carver Elementary, Huntington Middle School and San Marino High School.
City of Pasadena programs include the popular Rose Bowl Tennis Summer Camp,
the Allendale Park Summer Camp, the Washington Park Summer Camp, as well as
ongoing tennis programs in the parks of Pasadena: Allendale, Grant,
Hamilton, Eaton Blanche, Washington and Brookside Park (Rose Bowl Tennis
Center). Growing up in nearby La Crescenta, Uran
played varsity tennis for Crescenta Valley High School before playing on the
team at Pasadena City College. He graduated with his degree in Philosophy
from UCLA in 2002.

Staff professionals:
Mike Gealer
Mike has been teaching for over 25 years, most recently at Glassell Park
in Los Angeles. Prior to that Mike was the head pro at Los Coyotes
club in Buena Park. Mike has a passion for teaching proper technique.
He has two great kids who have excelled under Mike's direction - Sarah Gealer, who
is a nationally ranked player 12 & under player, and Danny Gealer, who is
top 10 & under player.

Tomas Bubilek
Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Tomas was one of the top juniors in his
country and came to the United States on a full scholarship to South
Carolina State. He played #1 for South Carolina from 1998-2002.
Following graduation he worked as an assistant coach for the team helping
South Carolina state to three Middle Atlantic Conference NCAA titles.
He has taught private and group lessons for many years. He began a
four year masters program at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design in 2007.

Chris Porter
Chris has been a professional tennis instructor for over 25 years.
Before coming to Rose Bowl Tennis he was a professional at the historic Los
Angeles Tennis Club for many years. He played college tennis at San
Francisco State where he was the team's #1 player. When not teaching
tennis, you can find Chris performing as a stand-up comedian at venues
around Southern California (and nationwide).
